Really oily skin, blackheads on nose & pimples?

I wash my face twice with clean hands, I 'm using benzoyl peroxide 2.5% right now but it's not working at all. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and side, I have really, really, really oily skin. I tried oxy etc but they never worked, even though I followed the instructions. Can someone tell me what to do to get rid of the oily skin, blackheads, and pimples?

Should I try 5 or 10% benzoyl peroxide?Really oily skin, blackheads on nose %26amp; pimples?
You need to start by taking a good look at what you eat. there is an old saying ';Garbage in garbage out'; or ';You are what you eat';.

Try more fruits and raw vegetables and less processed foods.

I will probably take several weeks to see any real results, but stick with it, you are worth it

You might also try misting your face with ionic silver, it's available at any GOOD health food store or on the web, but do your research first, you'll be amazed!!Really oily skin, blackheads on nose %26amp; pimples?
Unfortunately, blackheads are persistent due to the clogging of pores with oil and debris. A good pore reducer may help. There are prescription medications available to help with the acne. My daughter was using Clindamycin pledgettes. They worked great for her, but you do need a prescription for it. They sometimes use tetracycline to treat acne as well, but the side affects can be bad. Salicylic acid is used too treat acne as well and is found over the counter. Check with the pharmacist when buying any over the counter medications to make sure you aren't allergic to any of the ingredients and to make sure they are compatible with your current meds. They are a great resource. See a dermatologist.
Sometimes its not about the hormones or the body. try changing your bedsheets and pillowcases more often. Springclean your house every weekend. it helped me a lot. i hope it help you too! good luck!
I would recommend that you switch to salicylic acid instead.

Benzoyl peroxide may be too harsh. Try a face wash called ';Purpose'; by Johnson and Johnson. It's a great daily face wash. If you can't find that use any brand...Nutrigena makes a good daily was and so doe Sauve or even Target. Also use astrigent anybrand will do and use it once or twice daily (like morning and evening). Biore make nose strips that remove black heads...they work fairly well. Other thing to try weekly is a face mask.

Trick is to also watch what you eat so no peanut butter or other oily foods (pizza, fries,etc...). Also chocolate and caffiene can produce acne.
My best advice to you, is not a product you can try, it's to change your diet. Oily foods contribute very much to oily skin. Eat lots of raw vegetables. This will dry you up a bit.

Also, change your pillow case 3 times a week to keep bacteria off it.

And lastly, make sure your hair is washed at least once a day, because those oils can transfer to your skin.

If all else fails, see a dermatologist for trained advice. All the best!
for pimples, after u wash ur face at night, make a paste of baking soda, and water. it'll be a little flaky when ur sleeping, but when u wash off the baking soda, the pimples should be gone.

go 2 wikihow.com, and type in pimples, the'll have all sorts of remedies
try a clean and clear product
Take doxycycline or minocycline. Topical methods like cremes don't work well. Pills attack the bacteria in your skin from underneath, they work the best.
1st thing u should do is see a specialist.. A dermatologist to be exact.. and if u don't want to do that then try proactive...
for blackheads those biore strips work real well for me. drink alot of water, i dont know about benzoyl peroxide but you can try putting natural things on your face like plain yogurt (cant be fat free) or honey or apple cider vinegar..that might make you smell though. have you tried proactive?
If you want to get rid of blackheads, your face must be oil-free first. You can use something mild like PONDS OIL SOLUTIONS FACIAL SCRUB or PONDS ANTI-BACTERIAL FACIAL SCRUB. You can use ALLUE Products too. For safety, you must go and visit a dermatologist.
