its acne medicationDoes Retin-A clear skin and also remove blackheads %26amp; whiteheads???? help im going to start using it tommarow!?
It's an exfoliator, so, essentially, it will. also, first few weeks, will cause peeling, redness, drying and seem to cause breakout, that's because the peeled skin is exposing zits that would have come to surface anyway, you just get to see them sooner. I also used Benzoyl peroxide 10% after applying Retin A Rx medication. I was told to use mild soap, Dove, have been for more than 20 yrs. Retin A is not supposed to be used near eyes, but, the added benefit, is it's migratory, so, w absorption, it does get near eyes, less wrinkling as that is one of it's other uses. Oh, and I have used it on my eyelids/upper/lower area when I used Obagi Nuderm. That was fantastic as one product was 4% hydroquinone, bleaching agent. powerful, Retin A and bleaching agent, at 4 wks, skin was fantastic, completed 6 wks, then opted for ';blue peel';, peeled even more next 2 days (weekend). on Monday, superfantastic. Sunday, itchy, itchy, scary looking too. one girl in Nordstrom got nauseated from the ';burned'; appearance of my face. Next day, perfect. I've used it since 70's, when it was in liquid form! just keep saying for acne, and use as directed. of course, I like the max str avail. Skin gets used to it. little sun sensitive, but no problem... skin has a turnaround of 28 days, meaning every month, ';you get a new face';....

Red marks from peeled skin and forced out blackheads..?

I woke up with some real dry dark red bad looking spots..i guess mightve been scabs..from popped zits...i peeled them off and the rest easily came off from so much moisturizer...this gave me some red marks... and i also pushed out some blackheads which left some red spots...what should i put on them and will my face be okay tomarrow morning or atleast good enough to cover up..visine the spots w/eRed marks from peeled skin and forced out blackheads..?
I've kind of had the same problem.. dry skin=red spots from the peeled dry skin.. I've been having some luck by putting some neosporin over the inflamed spots, that will keep them from getting re-infected.. Also, Aloe Vera works fairly well on dry/burnt skin so I'm sure it would help improve your skin and help it heal a little quicker.Red marks from peeled skin and forced out blackheads..?
put biore moisturizer it is great!

Help with little Acne, lots of blackheads, large pores, & sensitive skin?

Help, I've tried Neotrogena, ProActive, all over the counter products...they haven't worked for me.

I have some spots of acne on my face, lots of little blackheads all over, redness, large open pores, and sensitive skin (can't use oil).

Do you know any products that really work for my condidtion?Help with little Acne, lots of blackheads, large pores, %26amp; sensitive skin?
I've used dove for 4 years, along with an acne soap called Panoxil (I don't know the correct spelling). Use each one every other day, twice a day. With me, what I eat and drink has never affected my acne (and my dermitologist told me so), therefore, eat whatever you want. Also, avoid any make up on your face or wherever else you have your acne. Don't use any lotions or soaps that are scented!! And by far the best thing you could possible use to get rid of it all is birth control pills. Depending on your age and if your parents approve, look into it! because I promise it will work! The only thing you really have to worry about with birth control is the possibility of gaining weight, but I didn't have problems with that, so there's no guarantee you will either. good luck!Help with little Acne, lots of blackheads, large pores, %26amp; sensitive skin?
i don't, but i have the same problem. The only thing that works even a little for me is to wash my face with Dove soap (for sensitive skin) and follow up with acne spot treatment. Good luck to you, i know it's difficult!
You should definitely schedule an appointment with your dermatologist first and see if they can prescribe you something for your specific needs =]

Try changing up your diet- eliminating sugary products, fried and fattening foods and soda can cause flare ups- its ok to have these sometimes just not too often

Exercise is good for the skin, especially when you sweat

When you wash your face- wash it with warm water then cold water to help close up your pores

A Honey mask is good for the skin- it could help calm down your acne and redness in the skin

Try to drink more water( 6-8 glasses a day is a healthy amount)

    I hope this helped =]
If you have tried using all of those types of stuff then you should prolly consider seeing a dermatologist.
To get rid of the blackheads, try Biore. To reduce the pore size, go to the cosmetic counter in a good store, like Macy's. Try Estee Lauder-the clerks know which products will help. Use thier face wash and neutralizer, moisturizers. Your skin will come around.

    I have skin issues....blackheads?

I have terrible blackheads, especially around my nose. If I remove my makeup, wash my face, and exfoliate every night is that enough or is there more I should do?I have skin issues....blackheads?
This is the EASIEST %26amp; the BEST treatment you'll try!!

Rub a teaspoon of fine salt all over your face gently %26amp; wash off!! And you'll notice that your blackheads are gone (not completely but some of them must be gone) %26amp; your skin is smooth!!! You'll be amazed! Try it NOW!! Repeat this proccess twice/thrice a week!!

Follow with an egg white mask! Whip an egg white until frothy %26amp; slather it on your face. Wait until it dry %26amp; wash off with warm water. Then, a splash of cold water. But you don't have to do the egg white mask everytime you did the salt scrub. Once a month is enough but you must to do the salt scrub twice/thrice a week!

    GOOD LUCK!!I have skin issues....blackheads?
first you should find a good cleanser one to take all the dirt and bactiria off your face then you should try to get a deep cleansing facial about every 4 days and never ever touch your face or let anything thats dirty near it. the more you touch your face the more bactiria your inviting in and more and more black heads you will get.

a really great cleanser is one from nars one made for oliy skin and also don't scrub your face to hard.
ME 2! It sucks i absolutly have it!
Hi! You need Extractions! a good Deep Pore Cleansing Facial! if you are in Los Angeles,CA e-mail me come and see me i am professional license skin care therapist with 20 years exp. owned my own Spa in Glendale, CA 13 years so i have seen thousands of woman with your problem!
I've got the same problem...and our avatar's are the same! But i tried everything (pore cleansing strips, blackhead scrub, steam, facialist) Nothing works for me!
Well, washing every day should help - no need to exfoliate EVERY night since this can really dry your skin out too much, even if you're oily! Exfoliate 2 times per week at most. Blackheads can't be ';cleansed'; from the skin - they need to be professionally extracted. To really rid your nose of blackheads, you should visit a reputable spa or salon that offers facials. The esthetician will cleanse, exfoliate, steam and then extract the blackheads when the skin is properly prepped. There is also a relaxing massage so that you forget about the uncomfortable extraction process!

Don't try to ';squeeze'; the blackheads yourself - this can damage the skin and cause you to have broken capillaries. And don't be tempted to try Biroe strips; they only remove the very top of the blackhead - which is fine for a day or so, but they will come back!

Be sure that you are using the right cleanser %26amp; moisturizer for your skin type. I am a big fan of an organic skincare line Eminence - it's amazing!

    Good luck!
Get St. Ives Blackhead clearing scrub! It's the best.

You can also use St. Ives mud mask to keep your skin smooth and to keep oil off your face at night.
Go to a dermatologist. I did and I haven't had them like I used to in over 7 years. Some of the stuff we use to help can actually make matters worse. The pores are clogged. They need opened, cleaned out, and then something to make them close back up.
this may sound weird but it worked for me all you have to do is exfoliate you kin where the blackhead are until it bleeds this will take off the dead skin that is holding the black heads in and take the balckheads out

but dont do it on days when you have something important cause it scabs a little

but sersously trust me it works my dermatoligist told me to do it and i t work wonders!!!
I use olay regenerist microdermobrasion and face peel in one it works very excellently.

I have really bad blackheads, not a lot of money, and very sensitive skin... what should I do?

They are mostly by my nose, and on my chins, they aren't big, there is just a lot of them. They are annoying, and ugly!I have really bad blackheads, not a lot of money, and very sensitive skin... what should I do?
    For the most obvous ones on your nose, pay a trip to the local drug store and look through the skin care sections until you find ';pore strips';

they're sticky things that go on your nose. You leave them on for about 20 minutes and then when you peel them off, they take blackheads with them. Voila!I have really bad blackheads, not a lot of money, and very sensitive skin... what should I do?
You should buy a Panoxyl Bar it works wonders. Just use it twice a day and you'll see results in a week.

The cheapest way 2 get way of black heads is really simple. All u have 2 do is wash ur face in the morning with clear water and right before u go to sleep with clear water (nothing else: soap, face wash...etc) and Ur problems should clear up in seconfs!!!!@

    PS. Good Luck
I've read that lemon juice can get rid of it. I haven't tried it myself, but read up on it and see if its right for you.

Okay, I tried linking to the website where I read about it, but Yahoo won't let me do it. So, if you want, just email me. :)
Use a very strong vacuum cleaner and a funnel that comes to a very small point...then suck those babies out of there!
I would recommend for treating your blackheads zenmed's scars and hyperpigmentation kit. It can be used on any type of skin and has no side effects. It's priced about $50 and is worth it's price due to its effectiveness of removing blackheads, scars and aging lines in a short span. So it maybe a bit costly but the results are guaranteed. Afterall you wouldn't like to pay little and little and end up paying a big amount.
ok im sure you can afford blackhead removing

    face soap

you first splash your face with warm water

    warm water opens your pores

and you scrub the face soap on your face real good

then wash off with warm water

after soap is all cleaned off

splash your face a couple times with cold water

    cold water closes your pored

kinda irritating process but it works

and the cold water may not be the best feeling but

heck do it for your face!

I have oily skin and alot of blackheads but every product i use peels off my skin and i look sunburnt what sho?

hi, you need to use steam bath or sauna is better for your skin and will clear any blackheads around your whole body without any side effect so just enjoy the steam bath or the sauna and have a nice cold shower after that you get the clear and toned skin that you really wantI have oily skin and alot of blackheads but every product i use peels off my skin and i look sunburnt what sho?
Doctors mostly give Tretinoin to treat it.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tretinoin

But sadly its the best thing you will get.

Eventually the skin adjusts and you wont have problems with it.

Try to avoid sun, use Sunscreen. Dont scrub your skin etc..

If you stop, it wont help.

I have oily skin and used to get pimples, after 6 months of Tretinoin use, skin is still oily but pimples gone.I have oily skin and alot of blackheads but every product i use peels off my skin and i look sunburnt what sho?
