P.S. I'm a maleHow can I manage my acne, blackheads and oily skin?
trust me on this use proactive i thought this product was a lie but i use it and if you use it constantly for a month day and night you will start to see a clear and pure skinHow can I manage my acne, blackheads and oily skin?
You should use a glycerin soap (clear soap)to wash your face. Then, once a week, you should use a clay mask to help control the oil. The best thing yu can do to clear p oily skin is to drink water, plenty of it, at least 8 glasses a day. You should also eat plenty of vegetables fr lunch and dinner. The combination of eating vegetables, drinking plenty of water and using a clay mask will clarify your skin and keep it balanced. You will start to see the difference in about 2 weeks.
I know this is really girly, but if it bothers you then you need to do this.

An Esthetician is trained in face and skin care, if you go to one, she'll clean your face and start closing your pores and making the acne scarring go away.
She gets the oil to go away from the inside.
I had oily skin before I went to see Kristy (My esthetician) and now I RARELY have white heads. she removes the blackheads before they are a problem. She'll also probably do chemical peels.
Without Kristy I would still have cystic acne and would not have clear skin like I do now.
I go once ever 3-4 weeks and its a expensive, $80-100 unless you find one for less (Kristy charges me $50) And I've been going for 3 years. But after the first time I noticed a difference. Its also painful. But it's the only way to get rid of bad acne.
I think that you should wash your face with neutrogena pore refining facial wash twice a day...morning and night, wipe using a soft rag and use stridex facial pads with the alcohol to scrub away the dirt and bacteria from your face. Once you do that for a couple of days you will start to see an improvement. Also eat less sugary and oily foods and drink lots of water.
First you NEVER use soap when u wash ur face.It makes it dry out, which causes ur skin to produce even more oil. Get a cover up that is dermotologist approved. it should be hypoallergenic. I've had ance for almost 6 years now. my face was never clear either. but recently i have been using this product called Murad. It has done me wonders. Yes u'll still get some pimples when u first start out but after the purging process it over ( when it brings out all the impurities in ur skin) ur face is clearer, (mine is almost pimple free!) softer and gives it a nice glow.I would recommend Murad. You do have to order it and it is kinda pricey but its worth it!
you can place some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rub that across your face.
but be careful as it can make your skin red and peel-y if you use it too often or have sensitive skin.
Buy some face wash cream or something
don't use too much soap and you can probably get a blackhead scrub cream from somewhere like boots, bodycare etc
Have you thought about trying Proactive? I hear it works.
Acne is a disorder resulting from the action of hormones and other substances on the skin's oil glands (sebaceous glands) and hair follicles. It is often treated by dermatologists (doctors who specialize in skin problems). Acne is not a serious health threat but, it can cause scars. It is a serious skin condition that affects billions of people in any walks of life around the world. Acne is so common that it's considered a normal part of puberty. At the moment in the United States nearly 40 million people are currently experiencing the problem.
Blackheads
Blackheads are dark formations on the skin due to an accumulated mixture of oil and cells in a blocked skin pore and they get their name because the surface appears black. Blackheads tend to be stable structures, and often take a long time to clear. Neither blackheads nor whiteheads should be squeezed or picked open, unless extracted by a dermatologist under sterile conditions. Both whiteheads and blackheads may stay in the skin for a long time.
Treatments
Treatments for acne vary depending on the type and severity of each case. Treatments Include: reducing sebum production, reducing bacteria on the skin, reducing the inflammation. Exfoliation - peeling of the skin which unclogs pores; removes dead skin cells and debris. Many young people are able to manage their acne with over-the-counter (non prescription) treatments. Americans spend well over a hundred million dollars a year for non prescription acne treatments, not even taking into account special soaps and cleansers. Scientists are also trying to better understand the mechanisms involved in acne so that they can develop new treatments that work on those mechanisms. This information may help researchers develop new treatments to target the bacteria. Among all the alternative skin treatments there are a few that can be called quick fix pimple remover. So, the best way for them to get rid of acne is to go for herbal acne treatments. Yet, one should be careful while using these products since not all the treatments would suit your skin. Treatment with hormones is another option.
What to Avoid
If the acne products you have tried haven't worked, consider seeing a dermatologist. With the products available today, there is no reason why someone has to endure acne or get acne scars. Factors that can cause an acne flare include: changing hormone levels in adolescent girls and adult women 2 to 7 days before their menstrual period . Tight clothes, eg uniforms together with environmental irritants, such as pollution and high humidity can all aggravate the condition. Squeezing or picking at blemishes does NOT help and can even be dangerous. All cosmetics, such as foundation, blush, eye shadow, moisturizers, and hair-care products should be oil free. Use products that will effectively control oil production, while maintaining a healthy level of hydration.
Conclusion
Although acne is usually not a serious health threat, it can be a source of significant emotional distress. The first and the foremost point to be remembered in the treatment of acne is not to panic. No matter what you've heard, acne isn't caused by eating greasy foods like french fries or pizza, munching on chocolate, or drinking soda.
